Children's Counseling of Alexandria Company Logo Design

Children's Counseling of Alexandria is an Alexandria-based child and family therapy practice.  When we began the design process, the goal was to create something that would appeal to both children and adults, and convey a professional image.  We wanted to get away from using child handprints and stick figures, a common theme with child-oriented design.

The sand castle image that we came up with conveys a sense of accomplishment.  It is the product of building something up to where you want it to be, and highlights the child's participation in the process.
